Caged Madness 46 Results – Nov. 23, 2016

The Thanksgiving Eve tradition continued for the third straight year as Explosive Fight Promotions presented Caged Madness 46 on Nov. 23, 2016, at the Tadmor Shrine in Akron, Ohio.

Myles Robinson was the big winner. He defeated Joe Wheeler by unanimous decisionto become the new EFP middleweight champion, and he captured Fighter of the Night honors in the process.

Tyler Collins also won a championship by unanimous decision, beating Nate Davies to become the new EFP welterweight champion.

The main event saw Andrew Law beat Scott Hudson by disqualification due to an illegal knee to a grounded opponent.

  1. Quinten Deal defeated Adam Bennett when the ref stopped the fight at 1:20 due to Bennett’s shoulder injury
  2. Matt “The Goat” Adams beat Dustin “Big Rig” Freet by TKO in 30 seconds
  3. Josh “Malibu” Barbee beat Steve “Wildboy” Allen in 31 seconds with a guillotine choke
  4. Hector “The Jet” Maris defeated Anthony “The Noodle” Kocheran in 42 seconds with an armbar
  5. George “The Grizzly” Pointer beat Omar Bedingfield in 49 seconds via tapout to strikes
  6. Terry Neff defeated Jon Knott at the 57-second mark of Round 2 with a rear naked choke
  7. J’Marr Moore beat Jose “El Matador” Burgos at 1:17 of Round 2 by TKO
  8. Tyler Collins won the vacant EFP welterweight title by unanimous decision over Nate Davies (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)
  9. “Hershey” Myles Robins won Fighter of the Night and the vacant EFP middleweight title with a unanimous decision over Joe Wheeler (30-27 x 3)
  10. PRO: Dru Schottenheimer beat Brandon Davis by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)
  11. PRO: Andrew Law beat “Handsome” Scott Hudson by disqualification (knee to the head of grounded opponent)
